Partido muy aburrido y soso. La imagen no es muy buena, ya que no se distinguen los dorsales bien. Se le suma que ambos equipos tienen los pantalones blancos y el color de las camisetas no se distingue dek todo. El partido es horrendo, como fue la ida, esta vez sin Djalminha. Juego muy duro, con muchas faltas, en la 1ª parte. Solo Gaucho y Renato parecem aportar algo diferente en la delantera de Flamengo. En la 2ª parte, dominio del Goias, sobre todo por la banda derecha con Niltinho, y 3 ocasiones, 1 de ellas parada del portero. El partido se rompe y una contra de Renato a punto está de acabar el gol.
