An absolute rout. Switzerland weren't even that bad but Germany were clinical. Beckenbauer a particular standout.

Haller and Bekenbaur class, the Swiss number 6 was good.
Beckenbauer é mucho salgado
A great game superbly commentated by the BBC. It was very interesting seeing a young Beckenbauer play. The commentator was doing his job very well, guiding us viewers through the game plus giving a lot of interesting extra material about the teams and the players. My hat of for the BBC, as usual! I watched other games from the 1962 and 1966 tournaments with modern commentary in spanish added on. I´m sad to say that many of these commentators just love to hear their own voices and don´t give a hoot about what´s going on in the game.
