Argentina faced its toughest foe and toughest game in Uruguay, even tougher than Italy. The inaccuracy of the Uruguayan attacks and passes up front and Argentina's brilliance ensured Argentina would progress 1 - 0 to the quarter finals. Both teams tried to give very little away in defence. A dirty game in which there was a foul almost every minute (Most from Uruguay but many from Argentina) and not one I would want to watch again.
Y me olvide de nombrar a Carlos "El Pato" Aguilera a quien Borrás tampoco le dio minutos en este mundial
Borrás se equivoco mucho en este torneo. No solo que dejo casi todo el mundial a Rubén Paz en el banco sino que ni siquiera convoco a Hugo De León (uno de los mejores zagueros que ha tenido Uruguay en toda su historia) y a Rubén Sosa (había hecho una excelente temporada en el Zaragoza ganando la Copa del Rey). Además para este partido faltaron, no se si por lesión o suspensión, jugadores importantes como Alzamendi y Diogo. Con todo esos nombres Uruguay podría haber llegado muy lejos en este mundial
