FAQS

CORONAVIRUS-DERIVED PROBLEMS

These days, most countries around the world are asking their citizens to stay at home. Therefore, many more people than usual are online at the same time and, as a result, the Internet is overloaded. For that reason, our videos may take longer than usual to load or buffer during play. We’re terribly sorry for the inconvenience, we’re suffering those problems too while working on the website, but this situation is beyond our control.

ACCOUNT CONFIRMATION

When you register, you receive an email that contains a link to confirm your account. You mustn’t reply to that email. All you need to do is click on the link that says "Confirm my account".

THE CONFIRMATION LINK TAKES ME BACK TO THE START

When you request confirmation instructions more than once, only the latest link received is valid. So if you click on any of the previous links you received before, it won’t work. Therefore, use only the link contained in the latest email you’ve received.

I DIDN’T RECEIVE THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL

Sometimes our confirmation email may go to your spam folder. Make sure you check that. If it’s not there, please contact us and tell us the email address you used to register.

CAN I DOWNLOAD MATCHES?

No, it’s not permitted to download content from this website.

CAN I CHANGE THE LANGUAGE OF THE COMMENTARY?

All the videos in our archive have been recorded from a tv channel. Therefore, the commentary is in the language of the channel they were taken from.

WHY IS THE COMMENTARY IN THAT LANGUAGE? PART 1.

When collecting old football matches, we’re lucky to find one copy of a match. Most of the time, if we didn’t post that copy you don’t understand, you wouldn’t be able to see that match at all. And we always think that it’s better to post a match, in whatever language, than not post it at all.

WHY IS THE COMMENTARY IN THAT LANGUAGE? PART 2.

Sometimes, though rarely, we get the luxury of choice, and we can choose between a couple of languages to publish a match. In those cases, we’ll always choose the language of the local fans of the winning team. Bear in mind that we get visits from all over the world, and everyone has the right to enjoy their favourite team’s historic moments in their own language.

I DON’T UNDERSTAND THE LANGUAGE OF THE COMMENTARY.

Fortunately for all of us, no one needs to understand the commentator to follow the game. After all, when we go to the stadium, or when we watch a match on tv in a foreign country, we’re still able to enjoy the match!

THE SECOND HALF OR THE EXTRA TIME ARE MISSING.

No, they’re not. All the matches in our archive are in full length unless indicated otherwise. Many of the matches in this collection are divided into more than one file. When that happens, you’ll see a yellow message in the page of that match telling you about it.

I’VE SEEN THE YELLOW MESSAGE BUT I CAN’T SEE THE ARROWS.

They are on the player bar that appears at the bottom of the video window, right next to the play/pause button.

I’VE SEEN THE MESSAGE BUT I DON’T HOW TO WATCH THE SECOND FILE.

You don’t need to do anything. If you’ve watched the first half, the second one will begin automatically right away and most of the time you won’t even notice.

I POSTED A COMMENT BUT IT’S NOT THERE ANYMORE.

No comments are tolerated containing any kind of abuse, disrespect, or false accusations. You can always give your opinion, but always be respectful.

CAN I MAKE REQUESTS?

To upload a match, we need to find someone who recorded it when it was played and then decides to share it with us. Although we’d love to, we can’t produce matches out of thin air!

MY QUESTION IS NOT HERE.

Then, you can email us. We’re happy to help you if we can. Just remember that good manners and respect will take you a lot further than rudeness and demands. And if we don’t reply right away, it’s only because we have too much work and too little time to do it.

We’ll be adding more topics as they arise.
